The Joiner Bulkheads and Linings have been designed to provide fire protection, acoustic protection, comfort sanitation and decor. All of the components of our Bulkheads and Linings have been designed for a life cycle of thirty years in a marine environment and require minimum maintenance.

Exterior finish is painted or vinyl coated galvanized steel, or stainless steel.

Features:

• Fire rating: B-0 fire rating class.
• Construction: The panels are of all metal construction consisting of a stainless steel honeycomb core with metal face sheets.
  • Face sheet thickness: 0.635mm (0.025in.)
  • Core thickness: 0.127mm (.005in)
  • Cell size: 19mm (0.750in)
  • Overall panel thickness: 17.5mm (0.689in)
• Sound: Joiner Bulkheads exhibit a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 25 db. All measurements are in accordance to ASTM classification E413.
• Mechanical properties, tested to MIL-401, demonstrate the following:
  • Edgewise compression yield at 100ºC
  • Core shear at 100ºC
  • Flatwise tension at 100ºC
  • Beam flexure at 100ºC
• Shock and Vibration: The system of panels and support profiles has been tested without failure under Grade 1 shock conditions as defined in D-03-003-007/SF-000 of the Canadian Frigate Program.
