Stack Cap and Flap Isolator Dampers

The
Stack Cap and Flap Isolator dampers are employed for isolation and gas
flow change-over operations. Depending on the specific application, required
function and service conditions, single and/or multi-bladed designs are
used.
The actuation is made by a toggle link lever
connected to a counterweight or to a spring return actuator. The frame is
made from a formed profile of channel of material suitable for the intended
services for stated system upset conditions. The maximum operating
temperature for this type of damper is 2600 deg. F..
