Gas Flow Diverting Dampers

Gas Flow Diverting Dampers (GFDD) are multiple-way dampers ideally suited for gas flow diversion in by-pass systems and are used for alternate isolation.

The GFDD replaces two or more guillotine or louvre dampers and is very cost effective as it utilizes a duct transition piece providing three or more ports. Only one actuator is required, simplifying flow control and making improper isolation and blade collisions impossible. A field replaceable alloy seal around the periphery of the blade provides up to 99.75% isolation.
